Our Fleet

Medical Rescue Team South Authority operates a variety of different vehicles, but all vehicles are used in a medical specific focus. All our vehicles are equipped with a radio communication system, a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, and a backup mobile phone.

Command Vehicles

Lieutenant’s Vehicle (780 Squad 1)
This 2021 Chevy Tahoe is used by MRTSA Lieutenants to first respond to 911 calls and supplement on scene capabilities. It carries a mirror bag system as to what is on the ambulances to allow for true interoperability. It is also equipped with supplies for extended on scene operations, specialized medications for rare toxicological emergencies and disasters.

Lieutenant’s Vehicle (780 Squad 1)

Chief’s Vehicle (780 Command)
This 2021 Ford Police Interceptor is used by the Chief of Operations in official capacity. The vehicle permits the Chief to first respond to 911 calls and supplement on scene capabilities. It carries a mirror bag system as to what is on the ambulances to allow for true interoperability. It is also equipped specialized medications for rare toxicological emergencies and disasters.

Technical Rescue Team Vehicle (780 Squad 2)
This 2008 Ford F-350 is used by MRTSA as the primary response vehicle for the SHACOG TRT Paramedics. It is also used for large and extended operations to facilitate medical rehab operations. When not on these specialized incidents it is used a supplemental response vehicle when needed. It carries a mirror bag system as to what is on the ambulances to allow for true interoperability.


Technical Rescue Team Vehicle (780 Squad 2)
