Training Center
Medical Rescue Team South Authority is dedicated to education. Over the last few years, we have developed our education program and our education spaces. This space allows our employees to hone their skills even if there aren’t any calls; it also allows us to work with our partner agencies and medical direction to practice collaborating on medical scenes and assisting our prehospital physician response.
MRTSA can offer training in 2 fixed spaces, we have a hospital simulation space that can accommodate no more than 10 people, which is equipped with:

- A high-fidelity ALS simulaid manikin
- LifePak 15 monitor with
- Full suite of EMS response bags
- Adult crash cart
- Pediatric crash cart
- Nitrous oxide
- Oxygen
- LUCAS device
- Various medical/trauma supplies
- Various medications
- Various airway devices
- Intravenous/intraosseous trainers
- Specialty simulators and manikins
- IV arms
- Pediatric manikins
- 12 lead simulators
- Feedback CPR manikins
- Full weight rescue manikins
- Intubation Manikins
MRTSA always has 1 ambulance available for in ambulance training. All training equipment is portable and can be set up for outdoor and rescue scenarios.
You can request to use the space for your medical training or have MRTSA educators assist you in creating and leading your medical training.
Our educators are certified by the state and many hold advanced specialty prehospital training past the level of a standard paramedic. If you are involved in EMS either an EMS agency or fire department, MRTSA can build con-ed for your department and handle submissions to the department of health.
