MRTSA, Medical Rescue Team South Authority, began in 1976 and provides emergency medical services to six communities in the South Hills of Pittsburgh: Baldwin Township, Castle Shannon, Dormont, Green Tree, Mt. Lebanon & Whitehall. MRTSA is a non-profit 501(c)(3), municipal authority with two representatives from each community making up the board of directors.

Your MRTSA Membership not only provides you with emergency ambulance coverage, but it also guarantees that MRTSA will submit your claim to your insurance carrier for the ambulance service, and as a member you will only be billed for 50%of what your insurance doesn’t cover.
