Community Outreach

Medical Rescue Team South Authority’s Community Outreach Committee is driven to provide educational opportunities and assist the residents of our communities in living both healthy and safe lives. We are passionate about introducing youth to emergency medicine and potential careers in health care.

MRTSA visits schools, community groups, nursing homes, and other local gatherings who would like to learn about EMS, health, and safety.

For smaller groups of people or individuals, station and ambulance tours are available by request.

Medical Standby Services

Medical Rescue Team South Authority upon request will provide medical standby coverage within the communities we serve. Standby coverage can be for any large gathering (block parties, fairs, marathons, graduations, etc.) or sports events at any level (football, baseball, soccer, swimming, etc.)

Ambulance or single person coverage is available by request. If you are requesting standby coverage for a sporting event, please check the governing body’s rules for minimum medical staffing and staffing requirements.

Medical Rescue Team South offers the advantage of extremely well-trained staff and the ability to integrate with the 911 system if an emergency does arise that requires more comprehensive care.

Car Seat Checks

Our mission is to teach parents and caregivers about the safest ways to transport children. We advocate the proper use of child seats according to the manufacturer's instructions.

EMS for Kids

MRTSA regularly encounters children during our day-to-day service of medical care. As a result, we have developed programing outside of our scene presence. Our goal is to familiarize children with the services offered by EMS, destigmatize ambulances and emergency medical care, and spark interest in the young minds of tomorrow.
