INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR NEW AMBULANCE VEHICLE MEDICAL RESCUE TEAM SOUTH AUTHORITY

The MEDICAL RESCUE TEAM SOUTH AUTHORITY (“MRTSA”) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) authority
which provides emergency medical services to six communities in the South Hills of Pittsburgh:
Baldwin Township, Castle Shannon, Dormont, Green Tree, Mt. Lebanon & Whitehall. MRTSA is
seeking sealed Bids from manufacturers for a new ambulance vehicle.

Bid Packages with detailed bid specifications are available upon request. The benchmark for
the initial configuration of this ambulance shall be the current KKK Federal Specification for
Ambulances, NFPA 1917 Standard for Automotive Ambulances, or CAAS certification. However,
most requirements in this specification exceed the federal specifications because of the specific
needs of MRTSA.

All bids must be on a lump sum basis. Copies of the Bid Package, including the desired
ambulance specifications, are on file and open to inspection at the office of:

Sealed Bids will be received until 12:00pm on March 8, 2023 and opened publicly
immediately thereafter. Late bids will not be accepted or considered, regardless of reason.

Any questions related to the Bid Package must be submitted to Chief Worth in writing on or before 12:00pm on February 27, 2023.

All bidders must execute a non-collusion affidavit.
