Compensation

Shift work over forty hours and overtime opportunities are paid at one and a half times your base rate. Our pay scale is structured to allow you to reach the top of the pay scale in five years versus twenty.

The issues of late calls, holding over and mandatory staffing levels are unique to public safety. Your personal safety and wellbeing are important to the company which is why anytime you work 18 hours or more, you’re entitled to 6 hours off between shifts. We further our commitment to safe staffing by capping providers to 18 hours of work in a 24-hour period. We want our providers to have a personal life outside of work.

We offer a 401(a)-retirement savings plan with the company automatically putting in 8%, this isn’t 8% matching this is 8% contribution. MRTSA also has a 457(b)-retirement savings plan allowing you to successfully prepare for your future.
